lemlist is a multichannel sales outreach platform that automates personalized cold email, LinkedIn, phone and SMS sequences for sales teams, agencies and startups.

Data last updated November 2026 · Our methodology

Overview

lemlist is a sales engagement tool from Paris-based lempire. It runs prospecting sequences across cold email, LinkedIn, SMS, WhatsApp and calls. It includes a lead database of more than 650 million contacts, email and phone finders, AI agents that write messages and pick up buying signals, warm-up through its lemwarm deliverability hub, and image personalization, which reviewers often single out. It is not a full CRM. Most teams use it to feed pipelines into HubSpot or Salesforce, both of which have two-way sync, or into Pipedrive, Attio, Close or Zoho CRM. It also connects to Zapier, Make, n8n, Slack and dialers such as Aircall and Ringover. Pricing comes in tiers. The Email plan is listed at 69 dollars a month, or 55 dollars a month billed annually, and covers up to 50,000 emails a month. The Multichannel plan is listed at 109 dollars a month, or 87 dollars a month billed annually, and adds LinkedIn and SMS automation, a built-in dialer and five senders per user. Enterprise is custom-priced and adds SSO/SAML, custom roles and a dedicated account manager. On top of the plans, lemlist charges for credits for contact data, an enrichment pack, intent signals and WhatsApp. It suits small outbound teams, startups and agencies that put personalization ahead of raw volume. Its main drawback is cost: seats, senders, credits and add-ons add up quickly. Reviewers also report basic reporting, a heavy interface, no mobile app and occasional deliverability drops.

Who lemlist is best for

Good fit

  • It is built for SDR outbound prospecting across email, LinkedIn and calls.

  • It suits small teams of 1 to 5 reps running personalized outreach.

  • It is affordable for one or two seats, and its lead database is built in.

Less suited

  • It is widely used, but one review calls it a poor fit for running many client accounts because of per-seat costs.

  • The Email plan at $55 to $69 a month is affordable for a solo seller, though costs climb with credits.

  • The Enterprise plan adds SSO/SAML and custom roles, and two-way sync with Salesforce helps larger teams.

  • Outbound sequences and HubSpot or Salesforce sync suit B2B software sellers, though no SaaS-specific features are described.

  • Cold outreach helps win clients, but there are no consulting-specific features.

  • An Enterprise tier with SSO exists, but analytics are limited and no compliance certifications are published.

  • It automates outreach sequences, but it focuses on sales prospecting rather than marketing campaigns.

Pros & Cons

Pros

  • Image and video personalization are frequently praised in G2 reviews as stronger than in rival tools.
  • A single sequence can run across email, LinkedIn, SMS, WhatsApp and calls.
  • Two-way sync with HubSpot and Salesforce, plus connectors for Pipedrive, Attio, Close, Zoho, Zapier, Make and n8n.
  • Warm-up, a 650M+ contact database and AI message agents come bundled into the plans.
  • G2 rates it 4.6/5 from about 1,345 reviews, and reviewers often call support responsive.

Cons

  • Costs climb with seats, extra senders, credits and add-ons, which is the second most common complaint in reviews.
  • Reporting is described as basic, and there is no mobile app.
  • Some users report a learning curve, a heavy interface and clunky contact handling across campaigns.
  • Some Reddit and Trustpilot users report deliverability drops and billing or cancellation disputes.
  • It is not a full CRM: there is no deal pipeline or support ticketing, so most teams still need a separate CRM.
