Overview

Mailshake is an outbound sales engagement tool built around cold email. Users connect mailboxes from Gmail, Outlook or any SMTP provider and build automated sequences with A/B testing, personalization, scheduling and throttling. Every plan includes unlimited email warmup, unlimited verification, unlimited contact uploads and AI email writing. The Lead Catcher unified inbox collects replies and flags positive ones. The Sales Engagement tier adds a power dialer with five phone numbers, unlimited free dialer minutes to North American numbers, call scripts, lead temperature, account-level views and custom tasks. Pricing is per user, and each user connects one mail account. Starter costs $29 per month for 1,500 sends. Email Outreach costs $49 and Sales Engagement costs $99, with annual billing lowering these to $25, $45 and $85. The Agency plan is quoted on request. Data Finder credits and ready-made mailboxes are sold as add-ons. Native CRM integrations include Salesforce, HubSpot and Pipedrive. The integrations page also lists Zoho, Copper, Freshsales, Calendly, Slack, Twilio, Dialpad and Vidyard, and Zapier connects to more than 1,000 other apps. The company was founded in 2015, is bootstrapped and is based in Austin, Texas. It suits solo SDRs, small sales teams and agencies that want quick setup and well-regarded support. It is not a full CRM. It has no deal pipeline, and there is no free trial. Reviewers also report mailbox disconnections, weak Data Finder accuracy and billing friction such as invoices not being emailed.

Who Mailshake is best for

Good fit

  • The low entry price and quick setup suit small teams.

  • An Agency plan offers unlimited email addresses, and reviewers name agencies as a good fit.

  • It is affordable for early outbound work, from $25 per user per month on annual billing.

Less suited

  • Per-user pricing from 29 USD works for one person, but there is no free trial.

  • Salesforce, HubSpot and Pipedrive sync support B2B outbound sales.

  • Built for outbound sales cold email rather than marketing campaigns.

  • Mid-Market
    4/10

Aimed at small outbound teams, with one mailbox per user.

  • Per-user pricing grows expensive, and it lacks intent data and advanced governance.

  • It is an outbound sales tool with no support features.

  • LinkedIn steps are capped (Prospeo reports 10 messages per day), and Data Finder accuracy is described as weak.
  • Per-user pricing becomes costly for teams larger than about five reps.
