Salesforce Financial Services Cloud

6.7/10

Industry-specific CRM on the Salesforce platform for banks, wealth managers, insurers, and lenders, with financial data models, compliance tooling, and Agentforce AI.

Data last updated November 2026 · Our methodology

Overview

Salesforce Financial Services Cloud adds financial-industry data models and workflows to Salesforce Sales Cloud and Service Cloud. Out of the box it tracks households, family relationships, legal entities, financial accounts, loans, and policies, and it adds financial goals and plans, KYC data capture, and prebuilt workflows for onboarding, lending, mortgage, and insurance servicing. It is aimed at banks, wealth and advisory firms, and insurers that have outgrown simpler advisor CRMs and have admin or partner resources to configure the platform. Pricing is per user per month and billed annually. It is sold in Sales or Service editions, each at three levels: Core at $325, Advanced at $500, and Max at $700. Advanced adds a full sandbox, backup, Security Center, Insurance Brokerages, and Collections. Max adds the full Agentforce for Industries suite, Data Cloud, and the Digital Insurance and Digital Origination modules. Those two modules otherwise cost $180,000 and $175,000 per year as add-ons. Premier Success support is included with all licenses. Integrations run through MuleSoft API templates for core banking, card, and policy systems, through AppExchange, and through connectors such as Schwab Advisor Center and accounting tools. The main drawback is cost and complexity. Reviewers consistently describe a steep learning curve, long implementations, especially for Agentforce, and licensing that is too expensive for small firms.

  • Prices start at $325 per user per month on annual billing, and reviewers call it overly complex for small firms.

  • The high per-seat cost and heavy implementation needs suit only well-funded fintechs.

  • Users complain the interface feels cluttered and that finding contacts and roles takes too many clicks.

  • Reviewers note that licensing is inflexible and that automation does not reduce seat counts.
