Overview

YetiForce is an open-source CRM that began in 2014 as a fork of Vtiger. Its developer is based in Warsaw, Poland. The vendor says the system has more than 80 modules covering marketing, sales, projects, support, finance, logistics, office work and HR. Modules include leads, contacts, accounts, opportunities, quotes, invoicing, and workflows for automating sales processes. The vendor says it is used in about 100 countries and 35 languages, and that its largest installation has more than 12,000 users. That makes it best suited to technically capable small, mid-sized and large organizations that want deep customization, including custom modules, without paying per-seat licence fees. The software itself costs nothing to self-host. The vendor earns money from cloud hosting, Marketplace add-ons and paid support. Cloud plans are priced by company size, not per user. Small costs 80 EUR net per month for up to 19 users. Medium costs 150 EUR for 20 to 49 users. Large costs 540 EUR for 50 or more users on dedicated infrastructure. Enterprise is quoted on request, and paying annually gives a 5 percent discount. The system offers REST web service APIs, documented as Webservice Standard and Premium, plus email integration through a built-in Roundcube-based mail client. The main drawback is the work of running it yourself. Reviewers mention thin documentation, no automatic updates, demanding server requirements, and a reporting tool that is weaker than the rest of the product. Some long-time users also say the vendor has moved key functions behind paid Marketplace add-ons. Most public reviews date from 2015 to 2019. In August 2025 the old GitHub repository was archived and development moved to a new repository.

Who YetiForce is best for

Good fit

  • Mid-Market
    8/10

The repository describes it as a CRM for medium and large companies, and its cloud plans are sized for 20 to 49 users and 50 or more users.

  • It includes leads, opportunities, quotes, and workflow automation for the sales process.

Less suited

  • The vendor cites an installation with more than 12,000 users and offers dedicated and Enterprise hosting, but it is a small vendor.

  • Self-hosting is free and the Small cloud plan covers up to 19 users, but setting it up takes technical skill.

  • Having no licence fee helps, but running and maintaining the system costs time.

Pros & Cons

Pros

  • The open-source core costs nothing to self-host, so there are no per-seat licence fees.
  • Cloud plans are priced by company-size band, not per user, which keeps costs predictable for teams of up to 49 users.
  • Reviewers on G2 and Capterra praise its deep customization, including the ability to build custom modules.
  • More than 80 modules cover CRM, ERP, projects, HR and support in one system.
  • The vendor says it has run at large scale, with a single installation of more than 12,000 users.

Cons

  • TrustRadius reviewers say documentation is thin and updates are not automatic.
  • A G2 reviewer says the report and dashboard builder needs improvement.
  • There is no confirmed native mobile app. The vendor points mobile users to the responsive browser interface.
  • Some users say they now have to pay for Marketplace add-ons to get functions they rely on.
  • Most public reviews are from 2015 to 2019, so there is little recent independent feedback.
