Overview

Visual Planning is a resource scheduling and planning platform from the French vendor Stilog I.S.T. It puts people, projects, equipment and rooms on one live, drag-and-drop schedule. It includes Gantt and Kanban views, conflict and overload alerts, workload-versus-capacity analysis, dashboards and KPIs by role, scenario simulation, and a VPAutomation module for business rules and workflow automation. A newer AI planning assistant can search documents, update data and autofill fields through conversation. Most buyers are mid-sized and large organizations in manufacturing, construction, healthcare, IT services and public administration that need a schedule shaped around their own processes. Pricing is per user and varies by client type. VP Desk, the desktop client for main schedulers, costs $55 per user per month. VP Portal, the web client for daily users, costs $40. VP Go, the mobile app for field users, costs $15. Prices on the vendor page assume annual billing. Customers can also buy perpetual licenses with yearly maintenance. Deployment can be SaaS on VPCloud, on-premise, or in the customer's own cloud. Third-party listings report setup fees from about $990 and customized implementations from about $5,000. Open APIs connect it to ERP, CRM, HRIS and CMMS systems, and data can be exchanged by Excel, CSV and JSON. The main limitation is that it is built for resource scheduling rather than lightweight team task management. Reviewers mention a learning curve, implementation costs that raise the total price, and some limits on charts and data inputs.
