5.2/10

All-in-one platform that combines email marketing, courses, communities, payments, CRM and automations, aimed at coaches, course creators and expert-led small businesses.

Data last updated November 2026 · Our methodology

Overview

Simplero is a combined marketing and delivery platform for coaches, course creators and other expert-led businesses. It puts email campaigns, a contact CRM, websites and landing pages, online courses, member communities, checkout and payments, scheduling and visual automations in one account. Every contact has a single timeline of orders, emails, lessons and community activity, so email segments can be built from purchases and tags without syncing data between separate tools. Pricing has three tiers, billed on active contacts rather than total list size. Starter costs $70 a month, or $59 a month billed yearly, and includes 500 active contacts and 10 products. Scale costs $179 a month, or $149 billed yearly, with 1,000 contacts. It adds a shopping cart, upsells, affiliates, a help desk, text messages and API access. Skyrocket costs $299 a month, or $249 billed yearly, with 5,000 contacts. It adds deal pipelines, child accounts, landing page split testing and custom AI bots. All plans have unlimited email sends, and Simplero charges no transaction fees of its own. Extra contacts, storage, AI usage and text messages are billed on top. Simplero has built-in payments with one-time charges, subscriptions and payment plans. For other tools it relies largely on Zapier, for example to tag contacts from WebinarJam or Zoom webinars. The main drawback is a steep learning curve. Reviewers describe setup as overwhelming, help material is mostly video, and several useful features are only on higher tiers. The entry plan is expensive for 500 contacts.

Pros

  • Simplero charges no transaction fees of its own on sales; only the payment processor's fees apply.
  • All plans include unlimited email sends, and billing counts only active contacts.
  • Courses, community, email, CRM and payments share one contact timeline, so segments can use purchase and tag data.

Cons

  • Reviewers report a steep learning curve and say setup is overwhelming for beginners.
  • Help documentation leans on videos, with little written step-by-step guidance.
  • The Starter plan costs $70 a month for only 500 active contacts, and the shopping cart, text messages and API access require Scale.
  • A/B split testing is limited to landing and site pages on the top Skyrocket plan.
  • Many outside tools, such as webinar platforms, are connected through Zapier rather than native integrations.
