Overview
Method CRM is a web-based CRM from Toronto-based Method Integration, built mainly for businesses that run their accounting in QuickBooks. Its main selling point is a real-time, two-way sync with both QuickBooks Online and QuickBooks Desktop. Customer, estimate, invoice and payment data stay aligned with the accounting file without a separate connector. On top of the sync, Method offers lead management, a sales pipeline, estimates and proposals, invoicing with Method Pay, customer self-service portals, email campaigns, and workflow automation aimed at a lead-to-cash process. It also has work orders, scheduling and dispatching, and a mobile app. Pricing is per user per month: Quick Start at $35, Pro at $59 and Enterprise at $97. Annual prepay saves 10 percent, and a Multi-entity edition for franchises is quoted by sales. Each user can be on a different plan, and there is a 10-day free trial with no credit card. Integrations cover Gmail, Outlook, Google Calendar, payment gateways and Zapier. Method suits QuickBooks-centric small service businesses and contractors that want CRM and billing in one place. The main drawback, according to reviewers, is the effort needed to set up and customize the system. Syncing is also more limited on QuickBooks Online than on Desktop, and implementation can add cost beyond the user fees.
