Data last updated November 2026 · Our methodology
Overview
Cresta, built by Cresta Intelligence, Inc., is an AI platform for large customer contact centers. It is organised around a few products. AI Agent handles voice and digital conversations from start to finish on its own. Agentic Assist, formerly called Agent Assist, gives human agents live guidance, answers from the knowledge base, summaries and draft replies during calls and chats. Deputy Agent runs longer tasks that span live conversations and back-office work. Conversation Intelligence and Quality Management analyse and score every conversation rather than a sample. Cresta names customers such as United Airlines, CVS Health, Marriott, Alaska Airlines and Cox, and it focuses on regulated industries such as financial services, healthcare, insurance and telecommunications. The platform connects to CRM, CCaaS, ERP and data warehouse systems across voice, chat, email and SMS. However, Cresta does not publish a list of specific integrations. Its security credentials are strong for the category. It holds SOC 2 Type II, ISO 27001, ISO 27701, PCI-DSS and TISAX, supports HIPAA, and in January 2025 announced it was the first contact center AI provider certified to ISO/IEC 42001. Pricing is not published and every deal is quoted. One third-party estimate puts it at roughly 100 to 200 dollars per agent per month on annual contracts, with modules priced separately and possible implementation fees. That figure is not confirmed by Cresta. The main drawbacks are cost and time to value. Models are trained and tuned on a customer's own conversation data, which can take months and needs an internal owner. It also generally makes most sense for operations with about 100 or more agents.
Our Rating
Who Cresta is best for
Good fit
Cresta is built for large contact centers, and its named customers include United Airlines, CVS Health and Marriott.
Less suited
Cresta pitches revenue lift from coaching sales conversations, but its focus is the contact center rather than field sales.
Reviewers say it works best above about 100 agents and that pricing is opaque and set by contract.
There is no self-serve plan or trial, and the minimum is a 12-month contract.
Pros & Cons
Pros
- Gives agents real-time guidance and knowledge answers during live calls and chats, which G2 reviewers single out as a strength.
- Scores and analyses every conversation automatically instead of a manual sample.
- Models are trained on the customer's own conversation data, so guidance reflects the company's own top performers.
- Unusually broad compliance coverage, including SOC 2 Type II, ISO 27001, ISO 27701, PCI-DSS, HIPAA and ISO/IEC 42001.
Cons
- No public pricing, free tier or self-serve trial; buying requires a sales cycle and usually a paid pilot.
- Model training and tuning can take months before the value shows.
- A few G2 reviewers report inaccurate AI suggestions or poor understanding of conversations.
